Hotelzify

Hotelzify MCP guide

Search Hotelzify properties, check room availability and understand the reservation workflow.

Choose the right connection. The production endpoint can create real reservations. For evaluation, use https://mcp.hotelzify.com/mcp?mode=review: a clearly labelled simulation with fictional inventory and no reservations, charges or emails.

Connect

Add https://mcp.hotelzify.com/mcp as a remote MCP server in a compatible client. The endpoint currently requires no user authentication or API key. Client access and tool permissions depend on your MCP client.

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector, paste the chosen endpoint and connect. Enable that connector in a chat and allow the requested tool when prompted. Search and availability return interactive results. Other clients can use the structured tool results.

Tools and inputs

search_hotels

Find properties by location or accommodation preferences. Required: query. Optional: k, an integer from 1 to 10 (default 5). Returns hotel identifiers and descriptions. Does not create a reservation.

check_room_availability

Required: hotelId, checkInDate and checkOutDate in YYYY-MM-DD format. Optional: hotelName and guest counts. Returns rooms, availability, currencies and rate-plan prices. Does not reserve inventory.

Guest counts: adults 1–12 (default 2), children 0–12 (default 0), infants 0–6 (default 0). Use future dates with checkout after check-in.

book_room

Creates a real reservation request and may send a confirmation email. Required: hotelId, roomName, ratePlanName, stay dates, guestName, guestEmail, guestPhone and confirmedByUser. Hotel name and guest counts are optional, with the same defaults and limits as availability.

Copy the room name and internal ratePlanName exactly from availability results; show the guest the human-readable useOnlyForDisplayRatePlanName. Format phone numbers as country code, a space, then the number, for example +91 9876543210.

Explicit confirmation is required: show the hotel, room, dates, rate plan, total price and currency, guest details and guest counts before setting confirmedByUser to true. Never infer consent from a search or availability request. A successful production response must contain a booking reference from Hotelzify. Review mode instead returns the clearly labelled test reference DEMO-NOT-A-RESERVATION; it is never a hotel booking.

No payment, cancellation or reservation-modification tool is provided. Do not supply card details. This connector cannot cancel an accidentally created booking.

Read-only examples

These examples exercise search and availability only. A property named “test” or synthetic guest details do not establish a safe booking environment.

Review safely in Claude

  1. Connect https://mcp.hotelzify.com/mcp?mode=review as a separate connector named “Hotelzify Review”. Keep the production connector disabled for this test.
  2. Ask: “Using Hotelzify Review, search for the demo hotel.” The result is fictional hotel ID -1.
  3. Ask: “Check the demo hotel for two adults for a two-night stay next month.” Confirm exact future dates when asked.
  4. Open the Demo Room and use synthetic details: Demo Reviewer, reviewer@example.com, +1 2025550123. Choose “Simulate Reservation”.
  5. Expect “Simulation Complete” and DEMO-NOT-A-RESERVATION. No record is stored, no inventory is reserved and no email or payment is sent.

The simulation exercises the connector and confirmation interface. It does not verify a successful reservation in a real hotel backend. Review mode rejects real hotel IDs; the production endpoint rejects the demo hotel ID.

Errors and uncertain outcomes

If search or availability fails, check the inputs and retry the read-only request. An empty availability result means no rooms were returned for those details; it is not a reservation.

Never automatically retry an uncertain booking. A timeout, missing reference or interrupted response may occur after the hotel system has received the request. Verify the reservation with the hotel or Hotelzify before trying again to avoid duplicates. Do not treat an error or a locally generated identifier as confirmation.

Guest data and support

Search queries and availability details are sent to Hotelzify services. A booking request sends the guest’s name, email, phone number, hotel, room and rate plan, stay dates and guest counts. Your MCP client also processes the conversation and tool results under its own terms.

Only provide guest information for an authorized reservation. Read the Hotelzify privacy policy for its collection, sharing, retention and deletion terms. The policy covers hotel discovery and bookings; this guide does not add any MCP-specific retention or deletion promises.

For support or privacy requests, contact support@hotelzify.com. Visit the Hotelzify company website for company information. Use review mode for evaluation. A real reservation requires explicit authorization for the exact stay and guest details.
